Running Schools

This section of the Illinois Loop website gives an overview on the laws, rules and regulations that apply to administration of a school in Illinois. We'll also look at certain management practices (school committees and teacher in-service workshops), as well as provide links for information on salaries paid in your district. Operation of government public schools is very much a political issue, so we will also review what commentators are saying about education, from both liberal and conservative points of view.
